New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Brandon Williams, who recently returned from his injury, said he expects the defense to be one of the most dangerous units in the NFL.
Williams said that despite having a new quarterback, he expects a defense that’s capable of holding up in the Super Bowl to be among the most formidable.
“I think we’re going to be a tough team,” Williams said.
“We’re going have to come together.
We’ve been playing really well.
We played against teams that are better.
But we’ve just got to stay together and stay focused on this game.”
Williams has missed six games over the past two seasons with injuries and has been one of only three players in the league to miss more than 20 games in each of the past three seasons.
He has recorded 10 sacks, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in his past eight games.
