The Al-sabbagh power plant was built in Syria by Al-Aqsa University for use by Syrian state-run electricity distribution system.
In 2016, it was shut down by a fire in the building.
However, the Al-Sabra plant is now undergoing a rework.
The Al Sabra plant has already received a major refurbishment in 2018.
The new Al-aqsa facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and has been designed to be a modern power station.
This year, the power plant also received a new electrical equipment and installed new machinery.
Al-nour Al Sabre and the Al Sabrah electric power plants, located at the western end of the Al Saffaa River, are now under the management of the Syrian Electric Corporation (SEA).
The Al Sabras power plant, which was originally a solar energy facility, was shut for the second time in 2018 after a fire that engulfed it.
Al Sabras owners, who have owned the facility for more than 30 years, have been unable to restart it for nearly a year, due to the lack of electricity supply.
The power plant’s owners are now working on the possibility of restarting the facility.

Al Nour Al- Sabre, the first power station to be built in the AlSabbagh region of the Damascus area, was inaugurated in 2019.
It is one of the first to receive a new electricity system.
Al Sawl Al Sabran, Al Sabraban, is another Al Sabraran power plant with a capacity of 1,000 MW.
Al Shatila power plant is located near the northern city of Homs.
The first Al Shatar plant opened in 2018 and is the largest power plant operating in the Damascus region.

Al Aqsa, which is also known as Al-Sham, is the first Arab power station in the northern part of Syria.
Al Mabna, located near Damascus, is Syria’s first commercial power plant and is now under administration by the Al Aksa al-Nabawi Organization.
Al Al Sabram power plant has the capacity of 7,000MW and is currently under construction.
Al Quds, located in the northwestern part of the country, is a joint venture between the Al Arabiya Network and Al Arabiyah News, and was completed in 2018 with the aim of providing power to the southern region of Iraq.
The Arab League, in a resolution adopted on March 25, 2018, called for the establishment of a national energy system and energy infrastructure to meet the needs of the region.
The Arab League resolution also called for a mechanism to facilitate the establishment and operation of new energy projects, including the creation of a unified energy system, including new energy generation and distribution facilities, as well as transmission and distribution systems for energy production and distribution.
The resolution also noted that the Arab countries are the only Arab countries with the resources to develop a comprehensive national energy network and the capacity to meet its energy needs.
The National Electricity System for Syria is the second project for the creation and operation, which will include the establishment, upgrading and development of electric power stations, transmission and power distribution infrastructure, the establishment or transfer of electricity from one power plant to another, and the establishment in the field of transmission, distribution and generation of electricity.
The project will have a total cost of $9 billion.
The National Electricity Commission is the government body charged with overseeing the development of national energy systems and providing the infrastructure necessary for their operation.
