Blockchain technology is the future of healthcare.
And it’s already here.
EMIT Techs and EMI Ventures announced today that they have partnered to develop a blockchain-based platform to enable the development of medical applications for blockchain technology.
The first blockchain-powered health platform will be built by EMITTechs, which is a blockchain technology startup that develops blockchain-enabled technologies for healthcare, such as smart medical records, personalized medical billing and payment solutions.
EMI will work closely with EMIT to help facilitate the rapid development of the blockchain platform, the company said.
“We are excited to work with EMI Technologies to provide the necessary tools to enable a blockchain based platform for healthcare applications,” said Mark C. Toth, CEO and Co-founder of EMIT.
“The EMIT Blockchain is an excellent platform for this type of medical application.
We look forward to working with EMi to build this new blockchain-driven platform.”
The EMITS blockchain platform will use EMIT’s existing technologies to deliver medical applications that will be interoperable across different blockchain applications.
The blockchain platform is designed to enable applications to be built and deployed in parallel across a number of different blockchain projects, such that applications that are deployed simultaneously can run on a single blockchain.
In addition, EMITs blockchain technology platform will support the development and validation of applications for medical data that are generated on the blockchain using the same software and hardware used in the existing blockchain infrastructure.
EMITS is an industry leader in blockchain technology, and will work with others to build a blockchain platform for the healthcare industry, the companies said.
EMISTechs blockchain platform can be used to run on existing blockchain projects that are currently in use, or on new projects to be developed and validated.
